Below is a collection of 40 nature related poems which I wrote and self-published. I took all the accompanying photographs as well.

My poems are a blend between modern and child friendly Shel Silverstein and traditional nature loving American poets like Robert Frost or Emily Dickinson.
I tried to make my poems quirky and fun, rather than dry and abstract. I want to encourage my readers to have a further appreciation of the natural world around them and perhaps even realize the similarities to their own lives.
My writing includes a range of poetic forms — Free Verse, Rhyme, Shakespearean Sonnet, Haiku, Tanka, Ode, Onomatopoeia and Acrostic.
American Chemical Society (ACS) Illustrated Poetry Contest
Over the years, I have participated in the American Chemical Society’s annual Illustrated Poetry Contest.
The contest covers different aspects of Chemistry and the goal is to learn about this field of science, identify its relevance in our everyday lives, and express one’s thoughts in a clear and creative manner.
I have had the honor of being a national winner on multiple occasions. Below are some of my award-winning entries.
